Q: How long does it take to assemble the fireplace?
A: ½ hour to 1 hour.

Q: Will the fireplace heat up the room?
A: The fireplaces are decorative units, not heat sources, however, they will take the chill out of the air. Since there is no chimney, heat stays in the room, 100% heat efficiency. (However these are primarily decorative and not recommended as a heating device).

Q: How hot does the fireplace get?
A: Approximately 160 degrees, each can of gel fuel outputs 2,500 BTU's per hour.

Q: Can the fireplace be set on carpet, or against a wall?
A: Yes the fireplace will not damage carpet, tile, wood flooring, or walls.  Ideal for apartments, condominiums, mobile homes, bedrooms, bathrooms just about anywhere.

Q: How do you light the fireplace?
A: FIREBRAND Prop open the lid. Take a long stick match or long stick lighter and touch the lit end into each can to light.

Q: How long does each can of Gel fuel last?
A: FIREBRAND One can  burns for approximately up to 3 to 3 1/2 hours.   The actual flame color, patterns and burn time may vary due to air movement, location of the product, climate, and amount and quality of insulation. 

Q: Can you extinguish the fireplace before 3 hours is up?
A: Yes,  just close the lid. When the lid closes the fire will extinguish. After cans cool replace the lids on each can, this prevents the alcohol from evaporating. then at any time the gel fuel can be re-lit.

Q: What is the jel fuel made of?
A: FIREBRAND  Is made from natural high end Ethyl Alcohol and wood cellulose.  Nice 6-8" tall yellow dancing flame with snap crackle and pop effect. Do not be fooled by lower grade isopropyl fuels.
    
Q: What is emitted from Firebrand ?
A: Carbon dioxide and water vapors. Fireplaces are 100% exempt from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations because they are considered "pollution free".

Q: Does it smell when I burn Firebrand?
A: 99% of our customers have no problems with the products. You can buy a 7 Scent Sampler that will help disguise the odor if you are sensitive to the alcohol smell.

Q: Can I use Firebrand if I suffer from allergies or asthma?
A: We do not recommend this product if you suffer from allergies or asthma.
